The Cheshire Widebeam Cruiser
We specialize in building, supplying & part fitting high quality widebeam boats & barges. We build boats from 9′ to 12’6″ in width and up to 60′ long. The most common size is 57′ x 10′,which has an internal cabin length of over 40′ with nearly 400 sq feet, making it the size of a small apartment, suitable for 1 or 2 bedrooms. Its weight, when fitted, is approx 22 tons making it quite affordable to transport around the country. All the hulls are built using 10-6-4 steel plate.

The Cheshire Houseboat Barge
This craft is built as a specially designed craft which can qualify for being sold at 0% vat rate (vat free) if used as the customer’s main residence in the UK. This is subject to the customer and the craft qualifying. The prices below include ourselves arranging all the required documentation to satisfy HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The craft has a standard rear stern with the options upgrading to deluxe stern or euro stern.
